How is tax relief reclaimed on my SIPP contributions?
When you make a personal contribution to your SIPP, we’ll reclaim your basic-rate tax relief from HMRC for you. We’ll then pay it as cash into your SIPP.
When you receive your tax relief depends on when you make your contribution. If we receive your SIPP contribution on or before the 5th of the month, we’ll pay the tax relief into your account on the 25th of the following month.
You’ll receive the tax relief as cash, and can invest it straight away. If you’re not sure where to invest, our investment ideas can help.
If you’re a higher- or top-rate taxpayer, you can claim additional tax relief from HMRC. We aren’t able to do this for you – most people claim their extra tax relief via their tax return.
Please remember that tax rules and allowances can change in the future.
