How is tax relief reclaimed on my SIPP contributions?
We will request basic rate tax relief from HMRC on a monthly basis for any personal contributions your make. If we receive your SIPP contribution on or before the 5th of the month, we will reclaim the basic rate tax element from HMRC and this will be credited to your account on the 25th of the following month.
If you are a higher or top-rate tax payer you can claim additional relief from HMRC. We are not able to do this for you - most people claim this via their tax return.
Please remember that tax rules and allowances can change in the future.
