How can I get help on my pension choices at retirement?
Deciding how to access your pension when you come to retire can be very difficult. But you can get free guidance on your pension options from the Government-backed service, Pension Wise. Pension Wise is available online, over the phone – from MoneyHelper – and face to face from the charity Citizens Advice. You can find out more at www.moneyhelper.org.uk/pensionwise
If you set up a drawdown pot with us, we’ll offer you Investment Pathways. There are four Investment Pathways you can choose from – each lets you invest your pot in an AJ Bell fund designed to broadly match your retirement plans. Choosing an Investment Pathway is completely optional. If you prefer, you can go it alone or just keep your drawdown pot invested where it already is. Find out more about Investment Pathways.
Other companies also offer Investment Pathway funds, and it may be a good idea to shop around first. On the MoneyHelper website, you'll find a handy Investment Pathway comparator: https://https://www.moneyhelper.org.uk/en/pensions-and-retirement/taking-your-pension/drawdown-investment-pathways
You can also seek advice from an FCA-regulated financial adviser.
