Is it possible to transfer an existing Junior ISA to you?

Yes, you can transfer a stocks and shares Junior ISA to us – but there are some restrictions to this.

You can only hold one stocks and shares Junior ISA per child with any provider. So it is possible to transfer all of the monies from an existing stocks and shares Junior ISA to us and close the account but you are not able to transfer only part of the monies.

You can also transfer a cash Junior ISA into a stocks and shares Junior ISA with us. You are allowed to have one cash Junior ISA and one stocks and shares Junior ISA per child, so you could transfer part of the monies from your cash ISA into a stocks and shares Junior ISA with us.

However, you should keep in mind that if you’ve subscribed into your cash Junior ISA in the current tax year, you will need to transfer all current year subscriptions over, as they can’t be split between providers.
