In this episode, Charlene and Dan debate the benefits of self-employment and the obstacles it throws up when you’re saving for retirement. Data shows that out of 4.5 million self-employed workers in the UK, just half are currently saving into a pension. Of course, you’ve got other perks like flexibility of working locations and hours, but can they make up for not being auto enrolled into a workplace pension scheme?
