Chaarat in 'advanced discussions' with lender to extend $10m loan agreement

Gold mining company Chaarat said it was in 'advanced discussions' with the lender to extend the US$10m loan agreement into 2020 and to increase the principal amount.

'It is envisaged that the terms of the Loan will remain materially the same with the exception of an extension to the maturity date and the increase in principal of the loan,' the company said.

The US$10m loan agreement, announced to the market on 15 November 2018, matured on 13 August 2019.
