Angus Energy said it had appointed Mike Wells as director of its UK operations.
Wells had previously worked for Roc Oil to oversee the Saltfeetby gas field in East Lincolnshire, which was acquired this year by Wingas UK Storage, and had also worked for BP and Candecca Resources.
The company also announced that Jonathan Tidswell-Pretorius had stood down as a director of three subsidiaries to focus on business development for the company.
