British restaurant and pub chain The Restaurant Group said new CEO Andy Hornby would take up his position on 1 August 2019, replacing outgoing CEO Andy McCue, who would step down on 30 June.

In the period following Andy McCue's departure at the end of June and prior to Andy Hornby joining as CEO at the beginning of August, the business would be led by Chairman Debbie Hewitt and supported by CFO Kirk Davis and the broader executive team.
