JLEN Environmental Assets Group Ltd - environmental infrastructure investment fund - Hires Ed Warner as its new chair, effective immediately. Warner is currently the chair of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Ltd, an investment fund. At JLEN Environmental, Warner will replace Richard Morse, who stepped down on July 15.

JLEN Environmental notes Warner has held many senior positions at investment banks and other financial institutions, including IFX Group Ltd, insurance firm Old Mutual PLC, NatWest Markets, part of NatWest Group PLC, and investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Says Warner also has experience in investment trusts. He was chair of both Standard Life Private Equity Trust PLC, now known as abrdn Private Equity Opportunities Trust PLC, and Blackrock Energy & Resources Income Trust PLC.

Senior Independent Director Richard Ramsay says: ‘[Ramsay] brings deep knowledge of financial markets and the investment trust sector and is well placed to lead the board in the future as JLEN, now a FTSE 250 company, continues to invest in the environmental infrastructure sector.’
