Premier African Minerals said it continued to work closely with authorities in Zimbabwe regarding an exclusive prospecting order application for its Zulu lithium and tantalum project.

The company said it had noted recent comments in a number of Zimbabwean online news sites about the current status of the application.

'The company continues to work closely with the Zimbabwean Mining Affairs Board to progress its exclusive prospecting order application (EPO) and the company is encouraged following a meeting yesterday attended by George Roach and the board,' it said.

'The company will notify the market as and when the company receives written communication pertaining to the status of Zulu's EPO application.'
