How a US rate cut compares internationally

It’s been labelled the ‘biggest tax cut in history’ by some commentators as president Donald Trump revealed plans to slash the rate levied on US corporations to 15%.

The current tax rate is 35%, one of the highest in the developed world, ahead even of the traditionally socialist-leaning French (33.3%). It puts the UK’s 20% corporate tax rate into perspective. (SF)
