Oil major BP (BP.) will announce its full year numbers on 7 February. Although the company has largely resolved liabilities associated with the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in April 2010, ongoing cash outflows are still an issue. The market may therefore look for guidance on this matter as well as management’s continuing ability to strip out costs.
