Checking in on the growth comeback

Shares in graphics microchip designer Imagination Technologies (IMG) have surged through 2016, bolstered by the pound’s plunge, the sale of its heavily loss-making PURE digital radio business, but mainly thanks to increasing takeover speculation. That may or may not play out but in the meantime investors need to know if the ship has been steadied and the company has returned to some form of growth. We’ll find out on 6 December when it publishes half year results.
