Investment Objective

The PowerShares FTSE UK High Dividend Low Volatility UCITS ETF aims to provide investors with investment results which, before expenses, correspond to the price and yield performance of the FTSE UK High Dividend Low Volatility Net Total Return Index (a dual-factor index) in GBP terms by holding, as far as practicable, all of the Index’s constituents in their respective weighting. The index constituents are reviewed annually in March. The FTSE UK High Dividend Low Volatility Index (“the benchmark”) measures the performance of the 50 least-volatile high dividend-yielding stocks in the FTSE 350 ex-Investment Trusts Index while meeting diversification, volatility and tradability requirements (achieve a balance between dividend yield and volatility). All FTSE 350 ex-Investment Trusts Index constituents are ranked in descending order of trailing 12 months dividend yields.
