Investment Objective

The aim of the Fund is to seek to achieve a total return by investment primarily in units of collective investment schemes. The emphasis of these collective investment schemes is to gain exposure globally to equity securities and to a lesser degree, fixed income securities (both government and non-government securities), money-market instruments, deposits, cash and near cash and alternative asset classes (such as property and commodities). The Fund may also invest directly in transferable securities (equity securities and fixed income securities), money-market instruments, deposits and cash and near cash. At any one time, the Fund’s investment exposure to equity securities may be 100 per cent. Any exposure to property and commodities will only be gained indirectly by the Fund. Derivatives and forward transactions may be used for the purposes of efficient portfolio management.
