Investment Objective

The Fund aims to provide income and capital growth by investing in equity and equity related securities of Asian companies, excluding Japan. The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity and equity related securities of Asian companies, excluding Japan, which are selected for their long term income and capital growth potential. To seek to enhance the yield, the Investment Manager selectively sells short dated call options over individual securities, portfolios of securities or indices held by the Fund, by agreeing strike prices above which potential capital growth is sold. The Fund may also invest in collective investment schemes, warrants and money market instruments, and hold cash.
