Investment Objective

The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and in Equity and Equity-Linked Securities of other real estate companies that, at the time of investment, are significant owners, developers or financiers of real estate or that provide real estate related services. The fund will invest in smaller companies and may invest in emerging markets on an ancillary basis. Other instruments as permitted in the stated investment and borrowing powers of the company including, but not limited to, fixed interest securities, cash and cash equivalents may be held on an ancillary basis, as appropriate. The fund will aim to hedge non-Sterling exposures back to Sterling.
