Investment Objective

The fund aims to provide capital growth and income. The fund focuses on companies that have certain “Value” and/or “Quality” characteristics. Value is assessed by looking at indicators such as dividends and earnings to determine those securities which the manager believes have been undervalued by the market. Quality is assessed by looking at indicators such as a company’s profitability, stability and financial strength. Restrictions are in place at the company, sector and region level governing how far portfolio weights can deviate from index weights. Within those constraints, companies are evaluated on their Value and Quality characteristics.
