Junior ISA
A Junior ISA (or JISA) is a tax-efficient way to save for a child. You can open a Junior ISA for a child if you’re their parent or legal guardian.
There are two types of Junior ISA to choose from. A cash Junior ISA that pays you interest, and a stocks and shares Junior ISA that lets you invest in shares, funds, tracker funds, investment trusts etc. A Junior ISA can’t usually be accessed until the child reaches age 18.
