A share in my ISA is subject to a corporate action – are there any additional implications?

Generally speaking corporate actions are treated exactly the same within an ISA however there may be additional factors to consider. For example you may have the opportunity to take up more shares via a rights issue or open offer, in which case you might need to subscribe further cash into your ISA to do this.

If you have not got any remaining subscription allowance this will affect the options available to you. Occasionally some investments can demerge or issue new shares and these may not always be eligible for inclusion within an ISA, if this is the case we’ll write to you and let you know what options are available to you.
