Can I pay charges from outside my Junior ISA?
We'll collect the charges for your Junior ISA from the cash you hold within it. But if you prefer, we can collect the custody charges for all your accounts (ISA, SIPP etc) from the cash in your Dealing account. This will include your Junior ISA too, providing you're its registered contact (i.e. the person who manages the account).
To set this up, open a Dealing account if you haven't already, then email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask us to collect all your custody charges from your Dealing account. This will apply to all your existing accounts with us, as well as any you go on to open in the future – so there'll be no need to email us your request again. As with all our accounts, there's no charge for holding cash in your Dealing account.
We collect the custody charge monthly, normally within 20 working days of the month end. If you want us to collect the custody charge for your Junior ISA (and all your other accounts) from your Dealing account instead, please email us with the request at least five working days before the end of the month. Otherwise, the change won't come into effect until the following custody charge is due, a month later.
