Stellar non-exec steps down

Stellar Diamonds non-executive director Luis da Silva has resigned with immediate effect. da Silva will be stepping down to focus on his role as chief executive of GB Minerals Ltd as it debt finances and advances the Farim phosphate project in Guinea Bissau into development and production.

Stellar chairman Lord Daresbury said: "Luis's knowledge and experience of exploration in West Africa has been invaluable to Stellar and as a founding director he has been a great support to the Company since its inception as it has advanced to the stage of mine development on the Tongo project in Sierra Leone. I would like to thank him for all he has done for Stellar and wish him well for the future."
