The FTSE 100 on Thursday, shrugging off concerns about rising Covid-19 cases and lockdowns in Europe.

At 10:05 the FTSE 100 was up 10 points to 7,296.

Pub group Mitchells & Butlers reported narrower annual losses as the easing of pandemic restrictions and cost costs bolstered performance.

Eco Animal Health reported that profit slumped in the first half of the year following a fall in revenue in China amid in falling pig prices.
