Premier African Minerals said it had converted a $1m loan to MN Holdings, the owner of the Otjozondu manganese in Namibia, into a 10% equity interest in the company.

Premier said the move gave it an 'important stake in a producing and revenue-generating manganese mine in a stable jurisdiction in Africa'.
