Defence training group SimiGon said it had won a $1.8m contract from an international defence electronics company.

The contract was for the design, development and implementation a C-130 virtual maintenance training solution for the Israeli Air Force technician training academy. Its period of performance, excluding 12 months warranty and support, was about 18 months.

The expected revenue contribution had already been factored into management's expectations for the year ending 31 December 2019, and also contributed to improved revenue visibility for the 2020 financial year and beyond, SimiGon said.
