IAG passenger volumes up 0.6% in September

British Airways and Iberia owner International Consolidated Airlines carried 0.6% more passengers during the month of September on-year.

The company said passenger volumes rose to 10,639 during the month, up from 10,575 in September 2018.

The rise was driven by a 6.1% increase in domestic passengers, which offset falls of 1.9% and 1.4% for the rest of Europe and North America, respectively.

IAG's passenger load factor rose 0.7% percentage points to 85.3%.
