Premier African Minerals said that chairman Michael Foster had resigned, with immediate effect.

Chief executive George Roach said he would act as interim chairman, but only for a strictly-limited period of 30 days.

Roach thanked Foster for 'taking on our chairmanship on an interim basis last year at a very difficult time', and for his stewardship and guidance.

He also confirmed that the company had received a further invitation to attend a meeting with the Mining Affairs Board in Harare at the end of this month.

The meeting would regard the ongoing exclusive prospecting order application at the company's Zulu lithium and tantalum project.
