Investment company Witan Investment Trust said it had reviewed its performance benchmark and would reduce its UK component.

The UK FTSE All Share Index would not comprise 15% of the benchmark, down from 30%.

The global FTSE All World Index would now comprise 85%, up from 70%.

'The company's benchmark, which is used as a reference point for comparing performance, has evolved over time to reflect changes in the investment universe from which most of the portfolio holdings are chosen,' Witan said.
