Kibo Energy said payments to mining commission in Tanznia to finalise the approval of seven mining rights for its Mbeya coal to power project were accepted by the Ministry of Minerals.

The company was informed by its Tanzanian subsidiary, Mbeya Coal, that the required statutory payments to the mining commission related to the final processing and issuance of the mining rights were made well within the required payment time frame and subsequently accepted by the Tanzanian Ministry of Minerals, Kibo said.

'Today's announcement provides further confirmation that the Mbeya coal to power pis rapidly gaining momentum and we are looking forward to providing further updates in due course,' said Louis Coetzee, CEO of Kibo. At 9:31am: (LON:KIBO) Kibo Mining share price was 0p at 0.78p
