Unilever director Mary May dies

Consumer goods company Unilever said non-executive director Mary Ma had died unexpectedly on the weekend.

Ma joined the company's board in 2013.

'We will remember Mary as a wonderful friend and will miss her warmth of character and kindness of spirit,' chairman Marijn Dekkers said.

'She was a highly capable and committed director who put her expertise and distinguished experience at the service of Unilever for many years.'

At 1:04pm: (LON:ULVR) Unilever PLC share price was +39.5p at 5310.5p
