Wizz Air passenger numbers jump 16% in August

Wizz Air Holdings boosted its passenger numbers by 16% during the month of August, on-year, after it added new routes to and from Ukraine, Georgia, the UK and Austria.

Passenger volumes in August rose to 4,036,914, up from 3,476,091 in the same month a year earlier.

The company's load factor rose 0.7 percentage points to 96.3%.
