Smurfit Kappa to issue €500m of corporate bonds


Packaging company Smurfit Kappa said it would offer €500m of euro-denominated senior notes due in 2027.

The funds would be used, along with cash holdings, to redeem in full senior floating-rate notes due in 2020 and redeem the €250m in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due in 2021.

The were being offered in private placement, only to non-US persons outside the US.
