Kodac minerals reported a decline in losses amid a reduction in share based payments.

For the year ended 31 March 2019, the group reported a pretax loss of £713,000 compared with a loss of £857,000 in the previous year.

The company had not earned revenue during the year as it remained in the exploration and development phases of its business.

'The group has continued with a limited exploration work programme to seek to expand the JORC resource at Bougouni as well as target new exploration targets both at Bougouni and within the new "Bougouni West" licence areas acquired in January 2019,' the company said.

The group held cash balances of £1.4m, down from £3.1m a year earlier.
