Woodford Patient Capital Trust said it expected a downward revision of the value of its holding in IH Holdings International to cut its overall valuation by 3.6%.

The investment company said Link Fund Solutions, with the support of independent valuation firm IHS Markit, had updated the value of its unquoted assets.

The expected valuation hit would be reflected in Woodford Patient Capital's net asset value as at 23 August.

'The valuation adjustment reflects a reassessment of the current progress of the business,' the company said.
