Recruitment group Staffline said PricewaterhouseCoopers had resigned as its auditor.
PwC had recently worked with the company to identify and assess the implications of its failure to comply with certain workplace regulations.
Staffline said PwC confirmed it had resigned and would not participate in an upcoming competitive tender process for the position of statutory auditor.
