UK Oil exploration minnow Union Jack Oil has told shareholders that a date has been set for planning authorities to hear its appeal after a planning application was blocked by North Lincolnshire Council regarding development of the Wressle project.

Even better, the company has been told that the local Council plans to drop its objections as long as certain conditions are met by Union Jack and its Wressle project partner, Egdon Resources.

Union Jack is the junior partner in the Wressle hydrocarbons discovery with a 27.5% economic stake.
