Home repairs company HomeServe said it continued to expect 'strong' growth in the next fiscal year, with trading weighted toward the second half.

The company said it expected increased investment in Home Experts to be offset by strong performance in Membership, particularly in North America.

Its investment in Checkatrade was proceeding well, with the segment reporting strong results from recent advertising campaigns in North West England, HomeServe said.

Its business in Continental Europe saw two developments: In Spain, HomeServe reached an agreement to secure the ongoing billing arrangements for customers acquired through the Endesa partnership for the next five years.

In Italy, it agreed to sell its 49% take in its Italian associate, Assistenza Casa, citing limited opportunities for Membership growth in the country.

HomeServe plans to announce its interim results for the six months to 30 September 2019 on 19 November 2019.
