SolGold said it was targeting the addition of more estimated resources following the completion of more drilling at its Cascabel project in Ecuador.

The company said 'large additional tonnage' was targeted to be brought into the indicated resource category at the Alpala deposit due to an additional 68,354 metres of drilling now completed.

Over 201,930m of resource drilling had now been assayed ahead of an upcoming third mineral resource update this year.

Resource extension drilling at Alpala Deposit continued to target extensions to high-grade outliers peripheral to the main deposit.
