Regional REIT raises £62.5m from share issue, above £50.0m target


Regional REIT said it had raised £62.5m from a capital raising, exceeded a £50.0m target set out in June.

New shares in the company were issued at 106.5p each.

Stephen Inglis, chief executive of asset manager Officer of London & Scottish Property Investment Management said the funds would support the next period of the company's growth.

' With a substantial pipeline of attractive near-term investment opportunities, we look forward to continuing to leverage our expertise to make further attractive investments in regional UK property and sector leading returns for shareholders,' Inglis said.
