Royal Mail says Q1 "in line with expectations", reiterates FY outlook

Ahead of its Annual General Meeting, Royal Mail said its performance in the first quarter of the 2019-2020 financial year had been "in line with expectations" and reiterated its full-year outlook.

It said all other targets and ambitions set out in its annual results for the year ending 31 March 2019 remained unchanged.

During the meeting, company Chair Keith Williams and Group CEO Rico Back would comment on the Group's performance in the 2018/2019 financial year.

Half-year results for the period ending 29 September 2019 would be announced on 21 November 2019.
