Investment manager Brooks Macdonald said it had signed an agreement to lease a new office in London for six years.

The lease, for an office at 21 Lombard St, would commence in the second half of the financial year ending June, 2020.

The company's two current London offices at Welbeck Street in the West End and Bevis Marks in the City would consolidate into the new central location.

Brooks Macdonald said the move would deliver cost efficiencies, which would be invested back into the business.

However, for the period of the fit out, it would incur additional costs of around £1.2m from running multiple sites.
