Tufton Oceanic Assets acquires containership for $23.6m

Tufton Oceanic Assets said it had agreed to acquire a containership for $23.6m, taking its fleet to 15 vessels. The vessel hasd a time charter of around 5.5 years to a major container line.

Tufton Oceanic said it had committed to invest $4.7m to upgrade the vessel under the terms of the charter.
