Inmarsat to be paid $50.8m after reaching settlement with RigNet

Satellite communications company Inmarsat said it had entered into a full settlement agreement with RigNet that would see Inmarsat paid $50.8m

The settlement regarded all claims in respect of an arbitration case at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution relating to Inmarsat's GX Take-or-Pay contract with RigNet.

The $50.8m settlement would be paid to Inmarsat in three instalments, the first two of which would total $50.0m, to be paid before the middle of July 2019.
