Senior opens new aerospace manufacturing facility in Malaysia

High technology component and system manufacturer Senior said it had opened a new aerospace manufacturing facility at the Malaysia International Aerospace Centre near Kuala Lumpur.

The 180,000 square foot facility was established as a direct consequence of winning content on key Airbus and Boeing growth platforms.

It was developed on a build-to-lease basis by Axis Real Estate Investment Trust in partnership with Malaysia Airports Holdings.

Senior said the facility would house highly skilled engineering and technical employees andstate-of-the-art equipment, such as large 5-axis CNC machines.
