PetroTal finishes drilling new production well in Peru

PetroTal Corp said a new production well in Peru had been drilled to its total planned depth.

The BN 95-2-2-2XD oil development well in the Bretana field, which commenced drilling operations on 26 February, had been drilled to 3,040 metres.

Initial logs indicate a total gross oil column of 24 meters,with estimated net oil pay of 18.7 meters, in line with the company's expectations.

Once completed the well would be placed online, expected in approximately one week.
