Wizz Air passenger volumes jump 13% in February

Wizz Air boosted passenger volumes by 13% during the month of February on-year, as it added new routes to Poland, Ukraine and Hungary.

The budget carrier flew around 2.4m passengers during the month, as it expanded its flying capacity by 9.3%.

Its load factor rose three percentage points to 94.2%.

Five new routes were announced, including two to and from Poland, two for Ukraine and one for Budapest.

Two new destination airports were also announced: to Castellon in Spain) and Bodo in Norway.
