Patagonia Gold records encouraging drill results at Uruguay mine

Patagonia Gold said it had recorded encouraging drill results from its San Jose project in Uruguay.

Seven holes had been drilled, with the best intercept amounting to 4.55 metres at 4.7 grams per tonne of gold.

'The results obtained from this maiden but limited drill campaign are encouraging and we are currently reviewing our next steps to evaluate the gold potential of this exciting, new occurrence,' chief executive Christopher van Tienhoven said.
