Cabot Energy launches £2.9m share issue

Canada-focused Cabot Energy said it planned to around £2.9m from a share subscription and open offer, to fund the partial settlement of outstanding balances with trade creditors in Canada and the UK.

New shares in the company were issued at 10p each.

Funds would also provide working capital, the company said.
