BT appoints Danish telco chief Allison Kirkby to board

Telecom company BT Group said it had appointed Allison Kirkby is to its board as a new non-executive director.

Kirkby has been chief executive of Danish telecom TDC Group since December and was previously CEO of Swedish mobile operator Tele2.

She has also held roles 21st Century Fox, Virgin Media, Procter & Gamble and Guinness.

At 1:10pm: (LON:BT.A) BT Group PLC share price was +0.33p at 229.78p
