Kodal Minerals said Tuesday its final assay results continued to show high grade lithium intersections and would be included in an updated JORC minerals resource.
Highlights from the Sogola-Baoule prospect on Bougouni included an intersection of up to 31 metres at 1.33% lithium oxide, 27 metres at 1.06% and 30 metres at 1.06%.
Highlights from the Boumou prospect included 11 metres at 1.32% lithium oxide and 11 metres at 1.03%.
The results would be incorporated into a mineral resource estimate, which remained on schedule for announcement by the end of February 2019, the company said.
'The final assay results for the Bougouni drilling programme, completed in November and December 2018, reported today highlight the excellent continuity and width of the pegmatite mineralisation at the Sogola-Baoule and Boumou prospects,' said Bernard Aylward, CEO of Kodal Minerals.
'These results will be incorporated into the geological and mineralisation model that will update our JORC Mineral Resource.'
