RockRose Energy said the production life of the Ross and Blake fields in the UK North Sea had been extended to at least 2029 from a previous estimate of 2024.

The extension gave an incremental net proven and probable reserves estimate of 4.2m barrels of oil equivalent, the company said.

RockRose also said proven and probable reserves for its UK and Dutch assets at 1 January were 35.9m boe, up by 9.4m boe from previous updates.

The Arran development, meanwhile, was progressing to schedule with first gas planned for the first quarter of 2021.
